The scent of lilacs in the spring........Heavenly!
Hi, my name is Randi Grace Nilsberg and I am a Norwegian fine art photographer. Through my camera lens I feel a connection with nature, a connection I hope to share with the viewer. In the world of today we need to appreciate and connect more with nature. If we do not, how are we going to preserve and take care of it? What do you do when life wears you out and tells you you don't have a job? You find your inner passion and let it surface! I have been interested in photography since I was a child, and when I lost my job and had to give the art of photography a chance. Being able to create in times of depression and feelings of worthlessness is a great comfort. Little did I know this would be an unpaid full time job! Anyway, I love the...

Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
How marvelous, Randi! I can almost sense (better word for such beauty than "smell?") the fragrance the sun creates with them! Such a careful, skillful photo! The shade, light and less light -- red and lavender, and the so careful bits of green here and there, almost sensuous probably to some people, and the crown of green leaf, so many facets and shades -- one can FEEL its texture! Virtually a work of art itself. As if this bouquet, its beauty, fragrance, and arrangement were not enough here, the still legible "ancient (well, toward 100 years?)" postcard background -- postmarked December in such bright sunny Los Angeles. And as the bottom two-thirds of that postcard bend seamlessly toward us becoming a table supporting the "bunch" (as if just thrown there!) of blooming and budding, begin almost shivering with an amazing sense of time created so subtly, so attractively, so alive -- yet in such glorifying direct sunlight, little can last long in its over-dose of vitality. And if we think about it, we realize (reluctantly, perhaps) that even the post card and stamp cannot hold their color long here; nor could they have been here very long already. And thus the wonderful blessing of Art! The life of this work of art, as does Fine Art America, can last and nourish us as long as Western Society does. Thank you, Randi! Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
