Description
Scientists have found that the moon affects our sleep. One night as the moon cast its light on my duvet I woke up with a head filled with memories from my teenage years, both good and bad.
I thought to myself: "How exactly did we spend our days?" The answer was easy. We listened to music! The kids I grew up with played the guitar, and those of us who didn't spent hours together listening to the radio or any new record one of us had saved up enough money to buy. We listened to the same riffs over and over again, discussed each song carefully, analyzed the lyrics and even made up our own stories as we dreamed about the magic that surrounded the hot musicians. Growing up in the 70's wasn't bad at all!
Today, we still go to concerts and listen to music, but it seems like it's more of a background prop for the screens we can't let go for a single moment. So this is a tribute to all young musicians who have found the magic in picking up an instrument and sharing their skills with the world! If the moon makes you restless one night, let your guitar or piano be the first thing you reach for!
