Description
Silence was broken by the sound of rustling leaves on this cold winter day.
The winter is not only hard and rough. It's also moody and soft. The white blanket of snow covers and protects nature during its rest between fall and spring. The frost makes art and celebrates with sparkling snow flakes and sculptures of ice. All is calm, you can see and hear your breath. If you're present you'll even hear the sound of frost-bitten leaves rustling from the branches and making music as the wind whispers among the trees.
This photo is part of my series "Winter Softness"
Boisterous is a word used to describe someone spirited, loud, and slightly out of control, like someone with a spring in their step and a song in their heart singing to strangers on the street. Boisterous means "loud, clamorous, and unrestrained."
